The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, would be
conducting the All-India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination,
$currentyear This entrance examination is being conducted exclusively for the
15% merit positions for the Medical/Dental Colleges of India as specified in
the directive of the court and will be governed by the rules and regulations
specified for the same by the Government of India, Ministry of Health and
Family Welfare from time to time.
AIPMT 2024 Exam Pattern:
Preliminary Examination:
The Preliminary Examination would consist of one paper containing 200
objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from
Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Final Examination:
The Final Examination would consist of two papers each of 2 hours duration.
Paper-1 would contain questions from Physics and Chemistry and Paper-2 would
contain questions from Biology
AIPMT 2024 Eligibility
(i) He/She has completed age of 17 years
(ii) The upper age limit for All India Pre-Medical /Pre-Dental Entrance
Examination is 25 years
(iii) The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at All India
Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination shall be limited to 3 (three)
uniformly for all the candidates.
1. The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry,
Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks
taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination.
In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other
Backward Classes the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken
together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General
Candidates.
AIPMT 2024 Application
Form
AIPMT 2024 Offline:
Offline submission of Application Form may be made on the prescribed
Application Form. The Information Bulletin and Application Form costing
Rs.600/- for General Category candidates and Rs.200/- for SC/ST candidates
inclusive of examination fee can be obtained against Cash Payment from any of
the Branches of Canara Bank/ Regional Offices
By Post:
The AIPMT Information Bulletin and Application Form can also be obtained by
Speed Post/Registered Post by sending a written request with a Bank
Draft/Demand Draft for Rs.450/- for General Category and Rs.250/- for SC/ST
Category payable to the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi
along with a Self Addressed Envelope of size 12" x 10".
