The admissions to these courses are given through an Entrance Test conducted separately by the University.
Foreign /NRI / Management seats :
Fifteen percent seats are reserved under Foreign /NRI/ Management category. Candidates seeking admissions to the seats of this category will have to apply separately on prescribed application form (Fee Rs. 600/-) and submit the same to The Registrar, BharatiVidyapeeth University, Pune. Seats remaining vacant after allotments to Foreign / NRI students, will be allotted to Indian students under management category on the basis of merit based on the marks obtained by them in CET (Engineering)-2025.The last date for submission of the form to this category.
2. CET(Engineering) - 2025 will be conducted on the date and at the time as mentioned in the calendar of events at the examination centers in the following cities, Mumbai, Pune, New Delhi, Vadodara, Indore, and Hyderabad. The exact location and address of the Examination Centre swill be communicated to the candidates through their admission cards.
3. There will be one question paper at the CET (Engineering) - 2025. It will be set-in English medium and will contain 200 multiple choice objective type questions with four options A , B , C , & D . With only one correct choice. It will consist 100 questions on Mathematics and 100 questions on Physics. Mathematics Physics
Each question carries one mark. These questions will be in general on the detailed syllabi.
Only those candidates who satisfy or are likely to satisfy the relevant eligibility requirements for admission to the courses will be considered eligible to appear for the Common Entrance Test CET(Engineering) - 2025.
Requisite qualifications for admission to First Year of B. Tech. courses The candidate seeking admission to any of these courses should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (H.S.C.) or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to10+2 or HSC examination of any recognized Board/ University from any school/college situated in India.
i)The minimum Qualifications for admissions in Degree Engineering Programmed : The candidate should be passed in 10+2(qualifying)examination with English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following optional subject.
The candidate should also have passed in the subjects Physics and Mathematics and optional subject individually and must have obtained at least 50 per cent marks in Physics, Mathematics and any one optional subject taken together at the qualifying exam i.e.10 + 2 / HSC /equivalent. (For SC / ST candidates 45 percent).
ii) Candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying examination i.e. HSC. Etc. but whose results have not been declared will also be considered eligible to appear for CET (Engineering) -2025, provided they have offered the above mentioned subjects at the said examinations. However, they should produce mark sheet of HSC at time of counseling. The candidates who fail to submit the mark sheet of HSC at the time of counseling will not be considered eligible.
