<font size="1">Applications in the prescribed form are invited from eligiblecandidates for admissions to <strong>Post Graduate Degree andDiploma Courses</strong> in Medical and Dental Sciences in themember colleges of the Association for the academic year2008-09.<br></font><p> <font size="1"><strong>Eligibility Criteria forKRLMPCA PGET:</strong></font> </p> <p align="justify"><font size="1">Acandidate who fulfills the following criteria shall be eligible toappear for the entrance test viz,</font></p> <div align="justify"><font size="1">(a) He/She is a Citizen of India.</font></div><div align="justify"><font size="1">(b)He/She has studied in the course leadingto the award of MBBS/BDSdegree in a college recognized by MedicalCouncil of India / DentalCouncil of India and Government ofIndia.</font></div> <div align="justify"><font size="1">(c) Candidate must havesecured MBBS/BDS degree from a University established by law inIndia.</font></div> <div align="justify"><font size="1">(d) Candidate should havecompleted compulsory rotating internship on or before 30th April,2008.</font></div> <div align="justify"><font size="1">(e) Candidates who arealready holding a post Graduate degree in any speciality shall not beeligible to appear for the Test.</font></div> <div align="justify"><font size="1">(f) Candidate must be less than 45 years of age on31st May, 2008.</font></div> <p> <font size="1"><strong>Basis forAdmission:</strong></font> </p><font size="1"> Allotmentof seats will be on thebasis of merit determined by ranking secured inPGET 2008 conducted bythe Association. Entrance Test will be formaximum marks of 200.Candidates securing less than 50% of marks in thePGET 2008 will not beeligible for admission and hence will not beincluded in the Rank List.Candidates securing 50% of the marks orabove in the PGET will be rankedaccording to the marks secured by themin the PGET. Any changes inthe date or venue ofthe Entrance Test will be notified on the websiteof the Association.Date, Time and venue of counseling will be notifiedon the website atthe appropriate time.</font></p> <p align="justify"><font size="1">Rank securedin the KRLMPCA PGET is the basis forallotment of seats. No marks areassigned for counseling. Candidateseligible for counseling shouldbring with them all marks cards andcertificates in original along withone set of Xerox copies for scrutinyat the time of counseling.</font></p> <p> <font size="1"><strong>KRLMPCAAdmission:</strong></font> </p> <p align="justify"><font size="1">Oncounseling, candidates who select seats in thecounseling will beissued provisional allotment orders. Candidates whoare issued suchprovisional allotment orders should report at thecollege allottedalong with original marks cards and certificates within3 days from thedate of allotment letter or within the last datestipulated by theUniversity for admission which ever is earlier.Admission will becomplete only when the candidate presents himself withthe originalmarks cards and certificates at the allotted college andpays the feein full.
