TheNational Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA), Pune,an Academic Unit of the Council of Architecture (CoA), is conducting aNational Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) for admission to firstyear of 5-year Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch)degree course for all architectural institutions in the country,including NITs, IITs, Government Institutions, Government-aidedInstitutions, Universities, Deemed Universities and PrivateUniversities, established by a Central or State Legislature and otherprivate institutions, for the Academic Session 2009-2010.

NATA 2009 Eligibility:

10+2or equivalent from a recognized Board/University with Mathematics as asubject of examination with the least 50% aggregate marks.

The details of Test Centers and NATA registration shall be made available at www.nata.in or www.niasa.org in due course.

NATA 2009 Test Fees

NATAFees are Rs.800, and are to be paid at the time of Registration andbefore collection of the appointment voucher from the Test Center. Thetest fees are to be paid by Demand draft/ Postal order/ banker's chequedrawn in favour of 'Council of Architecture', payable at New Delhi.

NATA 2009 Registration

NATA is offered as a paper based + computer based test.

• The NATA Pre-Registration form is available for download at website www.nata.inThe same is also available at all the Test Centers. We suggest -Filling up the form online and taking print out with you to the testcentre.

• Appointments are scheduledon a first-come, first-served basis. Register well in advance to getthe candidate's preferred test date.

NATA 2009 Registration Process

Approachthe Test Center located at college / school of Architecture at alocation convenient to the candidate with the documents listed belowand test fees.

• Fill up and submit the form

• Pay the fees

• Get the online registration form filled

• Get receipt cum appointment voucher with date and time from the Test Center.

Insistof Receipt cum Appointment Voucher to be handed over to you. In caseany of the Test Centre refuses issuing of Appointment Voucher Pleasereport to Council of Architecture / NIASA Immediately.

Documents required for Registration

• Std. X or equivalent exam marklist - attested copy

• One recent passport size colour photograph, to be pasted on the registration form.

• Any valid document of identification bearing photograph and signature of the candidate - attested copy

• Test fees in the form of demand draft in favour of 'Council of Architecture' payable at New Delhi.

• Validemail address. (In case you do not possess one, we suggest you to openemail account on one of the free service providers such as yahoo,hotmail, rediffmail, gmail, etc. PLEASE DO NOT REVEAL YOUR PASSWORD TOANY ONE.)
