B.A. LL.B (Hons) Admission 2008 - 5 Year Integrated Degree Course
The
National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), a statutory
University established by Act 27/2005 of the Kerala Legislature and
functioning at Kaloor in the heart of Kochi, invites applications for
admission to the 5 year B.A LL.B. (Hons.) Degree Course.
NUALS 2008 Eligibility:
A
pass in the Higher Secondary Examination of the Government of Kerala or
any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with not less
than 50% of the aggregate marks and 50% of marks in the Entrance Test
held by the University.
Scheduled Caste /
Tribe candidates are eligible for relaxation of 5%. Candidates who have
appeared / are appearing and awaiting results are also eligible to
apply.
NUALS 2008 Application Form:
Prospectus
and application form can be had from the office of the University on
payment of Rs.750/- by cash or DD drawn on any Scheduled Bank in favour
of the "National University of Advanced Legal Studies" payable at
Ernakulam. For applicants belonging to SC / ST, the cost of Prospectus
and Application form shall be Rs.375/- on production of proof of
community.
Application can also be had by
post by sending a DD for Rs.800/- for general candidates and Rs.425/-
for SC / ST candidates. Applications and Prospectus can also be
downloaded from the website

in such cases, the filled in application should be accompanied by a DD
for Rs.750/- (Rs.375/- for SC/ST) drawn in favour of NUALS payable at
Ernakulam.
Completed applications should reach NUALS office on or before
03.05.2008 (05.00 P.M).
Out
of 65 seats, 5 seats are reserved for candidates from outside Kerala
State. Reservation of Seats for SC / ST Backward and other Backward
Classes shall be as prevalent for the professional courses in the
State. Seats are reserved for PH candidates also.
NUALS Entrance Test 2008: The Entrance Test shall be conducted at Thiruvanthapuram, Kochi, Kozhikode, New Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore on
17.5.2008.
It will be of 3 hours' duration. The questions will cover General
English, General Knowledge, Reasoning-Numerical / Logical and Aptitude
for Legal Studies.
