Arch Course in Bengal Engineering and ScienceUniversity, Shibpurand Jadavpur University.<br><span style="font-weight: bold;">West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination - WBJEE</span><br>For admission to Under Graduate Courses in Engineering, Medical and otherallied disciplines in Universities and Colleges of West Bengal.<br>Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for admission to undergraduatecourses in Engineering / Technology / Medical /Dental/Veterinary and Pharmacyin Universities/Colleges in West Bengal and B.Arch Course in Bengal Engineeringand Science University,Shibpur andJadavpur University,on the basis of a JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION, to be conducted by the "WESTBENGAL JOINTENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS BOARD".<br><br><span style="font-weight: bold;">WBJEE 2025 Eligibility</span><br><br>Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must be a citizen of Indiaand should have passed the H.S. (10+2) or its equivalent examination. Thegeneral candidates must have to secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistryand Mathematics or Biological Sciences taken together (40% for SC/STcandidates) and at least 30% marks in English (for all categories). Inaddition, candidates must secure at least pass marks in the subjectsindividually including vernacular (or any other fifth subject) as mentionedbelow:<br><br>B.E/B.Tech./B.Arch: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and vernacular orany other fifth subject.<br><br>M.B.B.S/B.D.S/B.V.Sc: Physics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, English andvernacular or any other fifth subject.<br><br>Pharmacy: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biological Sciences, English andvernacular or any other fifth subject.<br><br>Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2025 will beallowed to sit for JEM-2025 provisionally and their admission, if meritlisted, willbe subjected to satisfying the minimum requirements of eligibilityas specified above.<br><br><span style="font-weight: bold;">Age Restriction: </span>Applicant shall be between 17 years and 24 years of age<br>There is no upper age limit except for the Marine Engineering course for whichthe upper age limit is 20 years.<br><br>Residential Requirements: For admissions to Medical / Dental /Veterinary courses and for admission to Engineering /Technological/Architecture /Pharmaceutical courses in Government Engineering /TechnologicalColleges / State Universities, candidate must be resident of West Bengal for a periodof not less than 10 (ten) years uninterruptedly or their parents must bepermanent resident of West Bengal having their permanent home address in WestBengal.<br><br>Reservation: Reservation for SC/ST/PC candidates are as per State Govt. Rules.<br><br><span style="font-weight: bold;">WBJEE 2025 Exam Centers: </span>To be located in the State of West Bengal and Tripura.<br><br>Cost of WBJEE 2025 Application Form: The Application Kit (i.e.,prescribed printed application form along with Information Brochure and aprinted envelope) will be available from different Branches of United Bank of India (asspecified below) on payment ofRs.500/- (for E / M type Form) and Rs.600/- for Ctype Form in cash.<br><br>following Branches of UNITED BANK OF INDIA: Old CourtHouse St., College St, Sealdah, Shyambazar,Jadavpur, Behala, MayukhBhawan � Salt Lake, B. E. College Extn.Counter and at Asansol,Durgapur City Centre, Burdwan(Main Branch), Katwa (Station Rd.)<br><br>Serampore, Chinsurah, Arambag, Kalyani, Krishnagar,Barasat, Diamond Harbour,Kolaghat Haldia, Kharagpur, Suri, Bolpur,Bankura, Purulia, Berhampur, Raiganj,Balurghat, Malda, Siliguri,Darjeeling (25, H.D. Lama Rd.) Jalpaiguri,Coochbehar, Agartala(Tripura) on all working days between banking hours onpayment of requisite fee.<br><br>The Application Kit may also be obtained by Post from the Board on applicationwith anadditional fee of Rs.80/- (Rupees eighty) only. The total amount(i.e.,cost of application form plus Rs.80/-) has to be paid by DemandDraftdrawn in favour of �West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board� payableat Howrah/Kolkata .<br>The Application Kit may also be obtained from the Board's Office only withpayment of late fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) in addition to theactual cost of the form. The whole amount is to be paid through a Bank Draft tobedrawn in favour of "West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board"payable at Kolkata / Howrah.The application form once purchased cannot be returned or replaced.<br><br><span style="font-weight: bold;">How to Apply: </span>The duly filled in application form must be sent in theprinted envelope received by the candidate within the Application Kit bySPEEDPOST only. Submission of Application Form by hand or courier service willnot be accepted. There is no provision for selling or receiving the applicationform with late fee from the Board office.
