ESSBASE DEVELOPER

We are currently looking for Essbase Developer for our Banking client in Singapore.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Will liaise with the Project Leads in Client centres taking requirements, translating them into technical specifications for delivery.

Responsible for the technical solution and the final delivery of the product in a timely manner and to a high level of quality. They will be required to provide hands on technical support/development on an as needed basis, occasionally being required to deliver solutions independently.

The ideal candidate will currently work in the Investment Banking field as a development manager with proven Hyperion Essbase development/support skills. These skills will have been gained within an MIS team where the candidate has also been exposed to business analysis & project management. A good understanding of SQL and Oracle relational databases would is required and knowledge of alternative tools such as Clarity, MS Analysis Services or Business Objects is desirable.

Hyperion Essbase 6 / 7 database optimisation; build rules/ load rules/calc script

development; EssCmd/MaxL Scripting; security/administration, SQL

Oracle 9i / 10g PLSQL - Intermediate

Business Objects - Any

MS Analysis Services / MDX - Any

UNIX / Windows Scripting - Any

VB - Basic / Intermediate

Clarity Performance Management - Any

Oracle Query Optimization / Tuning

Basic / Intermediate

PeopleSoft Financials - Any
