Job Description
Provide
technical leadership to the team. Coordinates between client team and
Wipro team. Participation in Telecons and project reviews Responsible
for t he project execution and del ivery from Wipro side Do certain
high critical jobs himself : Manage Service Requests/ Enhancements/
Address Support Issues/ Requirements Gathering/ Design Plan, allocate ,
monitor the project activit ies and manage project resources, processes
and schedules Ensure timely delivery and acceptable quality of the work
items/service Ensure SLA adherence Plan and lead defect prevention
activities in the project. Follow-up of corrective action on defects
reported Prepare Quality Status Report Facilitate acceptance of
deliverables & Obtain sign-off from the client Analyze customer
complaints and initi ate corrective and preventive action.
Desired Candidate Profile
Skills: Core Java, j2ee, Oracle,PL SQL
Good knowledge and experience on Java development (core java,
multithreading, socket programming, PL /sql, jdbc, web services, j2ee).
(work distribution: 70% Technical skills and 30 % Project Manageme nt
and People Management Skills) Should possess design/architect skills on
Java technologies. Telecom background will be an added advantage Should
have good analytical and grasping abilities to u nderstand the
pre-written code and designs followed. Should possess good customer
management skills, project management and people management skills.
Good communication skills. Should have good kn owledge on SDLC, Quality
Process like ISO, CMM. Experience in Software Product Development and
Maintenance in the Telecom domain would be an ad vantage.
