Major Responsibilities: ? Perform advanced monitoring, hardware, software and operational support of Siebel applications in a 24 x 7, on call, information technology environment
? Manage development projects to successful completion while acing as the technical lead on the project
? Create technical specifications based on current business process and interviews with user groups and supporting staff while aligning design and implementation trade-offs with project goals
? Maintain and distribute project schedules for complex projects
? Manage and communicate with vendors and end users to resolve complex issues
? Manage post-release support and ongoing enhancements to the project
? Recommend, create and implement IS Development policies, standards, and procedures for development and implementation of internally developed enhancements and interfaces
? Recommend utilization of tools (Quest and others) to support development, implementation, and on going support of the system
? Provide mentoring for IS Development staff
? Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution of very complex application, and interface issues
? Create, and maintain extensions to standard Siebel functionality
? Interface with all other team members to ensure smooth operation, and integration of internally developed systems
? Participate in training activities as applicable
? Maintain current knowledge of application development techniques
? Meet with other IS organizations to discuss operational issues, technology overlaps, etc
? Adhere to all Quest and Information Services policies and procedures
? Perform all other tasks as assigned or required. Requirements: ? B.E. Computer or Engineering degree with other discipline & Computer diploma is preferable
? Minimum 2 to 4 years of development and administration with Siebel applications
? Experience with Siebel version 7.x, Scripting, EAI, Workflow, configuration, Oracle Database knowledge, strong SQL+ and PL/SQL is a must
? Working knowledge of Assignment Manager, Actuate / BI Publisher is a plus
? Must have ability to lead the design, development and implementation of Siebel project
? Must be able to define detail design specifications, and develop long-term plans to meet project objectives
? Ability to design, code, test, debug, document and maintain Siebel Sales and Marketing applications
? Must be able to work on several phases of systems design and implementation for multiple projects simultaneously
? Able to communicate and resolve complex issues and perform day-to-day operational support functions, including application server administration
? Possess excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills. Desired Candidate Profile ? B.E. Computer or Engineering degree with other discipline & Computer diploma is preferable
