LAMP DEVELOPER for a software development IT Co.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Develop front-tier and middle-tier of mobile and web-based applications.
2. Use Rapid Application Development techniques to iteratively fine-tune and
improve selected prototypes into working web applications.
REQUIRED SKILLS
1. Experience with software development using LAMP stack (Linux, Apache,
MySQL, PHP).
2. Languages � Java, PHP.
3. Some understanding of mobile software development.
4. Some experience in software development � Programmers/ Coders.
DESIRED SKILLS
1. Languages � Action Script, Flex, C.
2. XML and XSLT.
3. Object oriented development techniques.
4. Web services, SOAP, REST, AMF.
5. Familiarity with Eclipse
SAMPLE TASKS/PROJECTS
1. Understand an extend
open source project code.
2. Work with open source APIs.
3. Extend existing applications using document SDKs.
4. Expose web apps functionality as web services/APIs.
COMMUNICATION AND BUSINESS SKILLS
1. Ability to understand design and specification concepts and documents.
2. Participate in open source team development projects.
3. Ability to multitask, prioritize, show initiative and respond quickly in
a fast-paced and changing Environment.
