Qualification : Matric, Two years diploma in Electronics/ Telecommunications or equivalent recognised by the Government of India.
Age : 18-27 years as on 15-2-2008 relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC as per rules and 5 years relaxable for Prasar Bharati employees
Scale of Pay : Rs. 4000-100-6000 plus allowance as admissible.
Attested photocopies for proof of SC/ ST/ OBC, date of birth, educational qualification should also be enclosed. If any of these certificates are found incorrect at any stage before or after appointment, the candidature as well as the appointment will be cancelled forthwith without any notice.
Typed Application duly filled in the prescribed proforma and complete in all respect alongwith the requisite fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees 25/- for SC/ ST) by way of Demand Draft/ IPO drawn in favour of DDO, PBBCI, DDK, New Delhi should be submitted to the Director, Doordarshan Kendra, Doordarshan Bhawan, Phase-II, Copernicus Marg, Delhi on or before 15.2.2008. Application fee in cash will not be accepted. Candidates working in Central/ State/ Autonomous bodies may apply through proper channel and they have to submit NOC at the time of interview subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
Selection Process
(a) Qualifying written test
(b) Practical and interview for those qualifying the written test.
The applications complete in all respects should be submitted by post or courier or in person so as to reach The Office of Director, Delhi Doordarshan Kendra, Phase-II, Building, Doordarshan Bhawan, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi on or before 15.2.2008. Applications incomplete or received in violation of the instructions and late applications shall be rejected summarily. No correspondence, whatsoever, shall be entertained in this regard.
