| Job Description |
You will be expected to work very closely with the Test Leads and product developers to:
> Understand the product requirements and features.
> Be able to extended existing automated test suites with additional testing scenarios & test cases.
> Run automated regression tests for each release build of the product.
> Analyse the regression test results and work closely with
developers and team members to determine if the failures are defects.
> File defects in the defect tracking system wherever applicable.
> Create test cases for defects being verified.
> Understand the product requirements and features in order to
assess completeness of the software product and testing strategy.
> Design and develop tests to explore the vulnerabilities of the software products & system
> Work with Test Manager and Test Leads to setup a comprehensive test environment
> Create manual and automated test case scenarios for the test team to expand and extend testing coverage
> Work with developers to fix defects filled into the TIBCO defect tracking system. |
| Desired Profile |
> SOA technologies and integration, SCA service composite architecture
> Core Java, JMS, EJB, C++, SOA & Message Oriented Middleware Programming
> Web services, WSDL, XML, Messaging Bus, Eclipse based designing and modeling, soapUI
> Worked with Application Servers such as Jboss, WebLogic, WebSphere
> Strong experience in software testing methodology, process and quality control.
> Knowledge of UNIX (Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX) and Win NT operating systems.
> Exposure to scripting language (Any one of Ruby, Python)
RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, Sybase, Informix, SQL Server)
Networking, protocols and standards (e.g. tcp/ip, udp, jms, http, soap).
> Test automation tools. Experience with Lisa, SilkTest,
SilkPerformer, WinRunner, LoadRunner or other automation tools will be
plus. |
