Job Description
1. Ensure periodical repair and renovation works in the plant buildings and structures
2. Ensure planning, co-ordination and effective execution of mini projects, alteration works in the plant
3. Ensure effective co-ordination with mechanical engineering for
drawings, preparation of estimates of both civil and mechanical works
4. Ensure periodical repairing of roads, pathways in the plant premises, timely white washing, painting, etc.
5. Ensure co-ordination for the development and maintenance of Garden, Social forestry, etc.
6. Ensure total assistance and co-ordination to Engineering Manager
7. Ensure effective representation of ISO norms related to all
engineering works, safety aspects and all other engineering related
works in the plant
8. Ensure maintenance and updation of maintenance schedules, records in
the engineering dept. as per guidance and direction of engineering
manager
9. Ensure supervision of all contract assignments under contract terms and conditions
Desired Candidate Profile
Fresh engineering graduates in Civil with good academic record &
communication skills in English & Tamil. Male candidates only would
be preferred. Candidate should be responsible for all civil works in
the plant area at Karaikal and would be reporting to Engineering
Manager. Computer operating skills would be added advantage.
