Roles and Responsibilities: WINDOWS 2000
Skill & Job Requirements:
He/ She should have 3-5 Years of experience in handling a medium server
environment with 100-300 servers as he is going to manage 4500+ servers
environment. and should be a hardcore Server engineer with excellent
troubleshooting experience on Windows 2000 and 2003 OS as well as
Server level H/W and will be responsible for handling incidents and
service requests as per agreed service levels. Troubleshooting windows
servers, file servers, print servers, and domain controllers on windows
2003 and 2003 OS problems and HARDWARE problems. He/ She should be able
to manage server level HARDWARE s like DELL, HP and IBM and troubleshot
RAID controllers issue and disk failure issues etc and should be able
to recover data from a broken / failing RAID and have knowledge on
backup and recovery, must be able to handle Citrix related tickets and
understand Windows scripting and should have strong Windows Server
level admin knowledge including the server level H/W and Windows
Clustering etc. The key skills required in the order of priority are
windows Server level H/W knowledge on DELL, HP and IBM Servers.
