Eligibility: CU candidate means the candidate who passed B.Tech/B.E./MCA/M.Sc examination from CU as eligibility degree for admission in relevant M.Tech courses and Non-CU candidate means the candidate who passed the same degree from other University
Candidate should check the eligibility criteria of the courses he/she intends to apply very carefully
Separate application to be submitted for separated group of courses
Candidate may apply in one course or more than one courses in a group if eligible with order of preference
Candidate may apply in more one group if eligible
Groups: (i) RPE, VLSI Design, VLSI Design-PT (ii) CSE (iii) IT, CSA (iv) OO (v) EE, EE (EP) (vi) ICE, ICE-PT (vii) CE (viii) PST (ix) CR, PT PF, OT
How to apply: Application to be submitted through online only
No Hardcopy of application form will be issued
For online application please logon to www.caluniv-ucsta.net
At the time of online submission following to be kept with the candidate for ready reference, Copy of all marksheets, Copy of date of birth proof, Email address of the candidate, Soft copy of scan passport size photograph 3.5cmx3.5 cm (not more than 15 KB), GATE score card; Information about monthly income of Father/ Mother/ Spouse of the candidate
Application form, fee deposition challan, hall ticket (for CSA only) etc automatically generated by the computer, after online submission of application are to be printed by downloading
Application Fee: Application fee Rs 200/- (for General candidate) and Rs 100/- (for SC/ST/PH candidate) for each group of application Rs 1/- (Rs one) extra for Challan fee
Cash/demand draft deposit on challan will be generated after online submission of application
Accordingly the amount mentioned in the Challan to be deposited
Application Fee may be deposited by Bank demand draft in favour of Calcutta University payable at Kolkata or by cash at CU Cash Counter at Rajabazar Science College Campus
In Case of demand draft please mention on the reverse of the demand draft the name of the applicant, courses applied and application number
CU cash counter at Rajabazar campus remain open from 11.30 a.m. to 03.00 p.m.
Application Submission: Printed copy of application form generated after online submission is to be submitted along with attested copies of both sides of marksheets (10th level and onwards), GATE score card and other relevant testimonials in the office of the Secretary, University of Calcutta, Rajabazar Science College Campus, 92, Acharyya Prafulla Chandra Road, Kolkata-700009, between 11.00 a.m. to 02.00 p.m. and 03.00 p.m. to 04.00 p.m. on all working days except Saturday, Sunday and Holidays
