Eligibility :
Pass in 12th of 10+2 or equivalent with English as one of the subjects
Students from Science; Commerce; Humanities and other recognized streams may apply
Students who are to appear in the 12th examination in year 2012 are also eligible to apply

Age Limit:
Upper age limit as on 01.07.2012: 22 years in case of General/Open/OBC (central list non-creamy layer)/PH/Kashmiri migrant candidates
25 years in case of SC/ST category candidates

Reservation of Seat: As per Govt. policy i.e. 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC & 3% for PH (across board) categories. One seat (supernumery) in each affiliated IHM shall be provided for Registered Kashmiri migrants subject to notification from Ministry of HRD for academic session
