NMAT ( T ) Selection Procedure 2012

    * All eligible candidates who wish to apply for NMAT ( T ) admission to the MBA ( Tech. ) & B. Tech, MBA ( Pharm. Tech. ) Programs will be required to appear for a Written Test to be conducted at various locations in India.
    * MBA ( Pharm. Tech. ) Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate in written test, and availability of seats as per eligibility criteria.
    * MBA ( Tech. ) & B. Tech Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate in written test. Candidates will be called for counseling session at Mumbai based on the merit list. In the counseling session candidates will be given admission to various disciplines as per their merit, choice and availability of discipline as per eligibility criteria.

NMAT T 2012 Merit Tie :

I. NMAT ( T ) Merit Tie for MBA  ( Tech. ) & B. Tech Program 2012 :

Determination of merit in case of tie. If two or more candidates secure equal number of marks in NMAT ( T ) 2012, their relative merit will be decided as per following order :

   1. Candidate securing higher marks in the subject of mathematics ( Section of NMAT T )
   2. Candidate securing higher marks in the subject of Physics ( Section of NMAT T )
   3. Candidate securing higher Percentage marks in 10th examination.

II. NMAT ( T ) Merit Tie for MBA ( Pharm. Tech. ) Program 2012 :

Determination of merit in case of tie. If two or more candidates secure equal number of marks in NMAT ( T ) 2012 , their relative merit will be decided as per following order :

   1. Candidate securing higher marks in the subject of Chemistry ( Section of NMAT ( T ) ).
   2. Candidate securing higher marks in the subject of Biology ( Section of NMAT ( T ) ).
   3. Candidate passing the SSC ( std. X ) examination with higher aggregate marks.

Structure of NMAT ( T ) Test 2012 :

I. For B. Tech & MBA ( Tech ) Program :

The NMAT ( T ) 2012 for B. Tech. & MBA ( Tech ) Programs would be an objective type multiple � choice test. ( There will be no descriptive type of questions ). The NMAT ( T ) 2012 will comprise of 3 major parts as follows :

* For B. Tech. and MBA ( Tech. ) Program candidates, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are compulsory.

II.  For MBA ( Pharma. Tech. ) Program :

The NMAT ( T ) 2012 for MBA ( Pharma. Tech. ) Programs would be an objective type multiple � choice test. ( There will be no descriptive type of questions ). The NMAT ( T ) 2012 will comprise of 3 major parts as follows :

For MBA ( Pharma. Tech. ) Integrated Program ( B.Pharm + MBA ( Pharma Tech. ) candidates can opt for either Biology or Mathematics.

NMAT T Call Letter / Admit Card 2012 :

   1. On the basis of information indicted in NMAT T Application Form, your call letter / admit card for the Admission Test will be available on NMIMS website www.nmims.edu.
   2. Candidates are required to download the call letter / admit card from NMIMS website www.nmims.edu.
   3. Call letters for NMAT ( T ) 2012 will be available on ( Tuesday ) 8th May, 2012 at www.nmims.edu 5.00 p.m.
   4. No candidate, without call letter / admit card or without the photograph on the call letter / admit card will be permitted to appear for the test.
