School of Fashion Technology Campus (SOFT) invites application for UG/PG/Diploma Course admission for the academic year 2012

UG Course: Fashion Apparel Design

PG Courses: Fashion Design and Clothing Technology, Apparel Production Merchandising Management, Textile Design (Computer Assisted)
Diploma in Fashion Design and Clothing Technology

UG Course in B.Design (specialization): Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, Textile Design, Lifestyle
Eligibility

UG Course (Fashion Apparel Design): The 10+2 level examinations in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi; or

Any recognized Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in Foreign Countries equivalent to 10+2 system (Approved by AIU, New Delhi); or

A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects

PG Course: Any Graduate (10+2+3) or Diploma of 3 years after 12th from recognized Institute

Diploma in Fashion Design and Clothing Technology: Graduation in Fashion from a recognized University or 3 years Diploma in Fashion Design after 12th from recognized Institute

Selection on the basis of Personal Interview

UG Course in B.Design: The 10+2 level examinations in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi; or

Selection Procedure

UG Course (Fashion Apparel Design): All candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the Common Entrance Test (CET)

Candidates will undergo Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT)

PG Course: All candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the entrance tests

Candidates for the design programs will undergo a Creative Ability Test (CAT), and General Ability Test (GAT)

For APMM the students have to go for Managerial Ability Test (MAT) in place of Creative Ability Test (CAT)

UG Course in B. Design: Candidates will have to appear for common entrance test conducted by SNDT Women's University, Mumbai for which School of Fashion Technology will provide necessary help and guidance to all candidates those who have applied

Selected candidates will have to go through interviews organized by SNDT Women's University, Mumbai at prescribed centers

How to apply: Fill up all details and paste a passport size photograph on the application form

Send the filled up application form only through speed post/courier/registered post

Retain the courier/postal receipt as proof of dispatch

Attach a demand draft of Rs 1200/- in favour of School of Fashion Technology payable at Pune

Admit Card: Admit card will be issued by the office well in advance so that it can reach a week before the date of the entrance examination

Last date to submit the form: 22nd May, 2012

Entrance examination: 27th May, 2012

Result of entrance examination: 14th June, 2012

Admission forms available from: 17th June, 2012

Last date of admission: 06th July, 2012

Session begins from: 09th July, 2012
