70% of Indian youth spend over 30 minutes a day on internet: Survey

According to a survey conducted by , Tata Consultancy Services 85 per cent of the Indian youth use Google to find information and are also hooked to one or more social networking sites. The survey, titled, The Web 2.0 Generation Survey 2010, also reveals that 70 per cent of the Indian youth spend more than 30 minutes every day on the internet. For the survey, TCS polled over 10,000 school going children between the ages of 12-18 in 11 cities across India during 2009-10.
