Making your fundamentals right, because this exam basically tests the candidate on his/her fundamentals, is the first step which initializes procedure for the preparation of GATE. The questions in the paper mainly based on your basic concepts i.e. they are generally derived from the fundamentals. For this library is the first thing that comes to our mind, so just check out the library. Flexibility: It may happen that a candidate is either too fast or too slow. Just find out "In order to overcome such a problem is there any mechanism provided by the institute so as to minimize the wastage of time" Quality of questions: It does not matter that how many questions you are doing. What matters is the quality of questions. Its better if you solve only 10 questions but that to the conceptual ones. Tests and evaluation model: Is that institute is providing you the right feedback.
