Militants exploded a powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) to target an army convoy at Bemina in the city but no major damage has been caused, defence sources said.
An IED planted by militants on the main road at Bemina in central Srinagar went off around 9.50 am when an army convoy was passing the road, they said.
One of the army vehicle was slightly damaged but no loss of life was reported, the sources said.
