About College
Jai Hind College was established in 1948 by a small band of teachers who worked at D J Sind College, Karachi. Jobless, houseless and faced with an uncertain future, they tried to work for the educational rehabilitation of the Sindhi community. It was with grit and determination that their vision for this college was born. The college started as an Arts and Science College initially. However, it has, over a period of time, offered new courses and subjects in keeping with the changing needs of the students. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated to Mumbai University, Mumbai
