About College
The origin of K.L.E Society is due to the pioneering efforts of the Saptarishis - a band of seven selfless, dedicated and inspiring young graduates. In the accomplishment of their mission along with the three philanthropists, the Saptarishis started the first institution called Anglo Vernacular School in Belgaum, on 13th November 1916. From its humble beginning the society has been progressing by leaps and bounds to the extent that it flourished into a multifaceted organization with educational establishments in Science, Arts, Commerce, Medicine, Engineering, Law, Information Technology, Pharmacy, Education etc. In the course of 91 years the society has established 163 institutions and hence has been spreading knowledge in this part of the country. Of the 14 NAAC accrediated aided degree colleges run by the society, 6 have been accrediated at'A' level and One with 4 Stars by NAAC.
