The college was established by The Agrasain Seva Samity. It is registered as a Non-profit making society under Society registration Act, Government of West Bengal. As per Memorandum of Association and the Articles of Association, the society is managed and Governed by a Board of Trustees. Its broad aim is all-round development of the society at large and Girls� Education in particular. It seeks to promote the spread of education, natural regeneration and moral upliftment of the younger generation, to remove social evils and upgrade the living condition of the poor and downtrodden. The concept of the ABSS Institute of Higher Education recognizes the importance of all round education as fundamental to the needs of any progressive society. The college has the unique honor of being the only Girls' College to be affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology for imparting Degree courses in Management and Computer Application.
