t is envisaged that with MAFSU�s recently developed capabilities in TechMODE and its now established �model village� concept, a mixed media based Q&A service for the rural Maharashtra with a primary focus on livestock development, aimed at poverty alleviation and socio- economic contribution, and could be developed successfully. Such a programme has to be partnership driven. It would be a multi player, multi layer outreach activity using ICT to bring together a wide range of partners and benefit end users at various levels. The programme, over time would also act as a valuable resource generator for Maharashtra and globally contributing to better design of livestock outreach programs and the spread of innovation and generation of new technology and knowledge.
