C.U.Shah Science College was founded in 1965 near Thaltej Tekra by C.U.Ronak Foundation which also manages two other institutions: C.U.Shah Commerce College and C.U.Shah Higher Secondary School (Science Stream). Later on, the Science College was shifted to new venue at the Ashram Road in 1968 by the then Managing Trustee Late Shri I.M.Nanavati. The College is at present centrally located near famous Income Tax Circle from where various public transport facilities are available from college to every nook and corner of the city and even some important places in the vicinity. The donor Shri C.U.Shah and the Managing Trustee Shri Sudhir I. Nanavati took active interest and gave valuable insight, co-operation and guidance to our college; as a result of which it has achieved the present day status of high esteem. The Institute is affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmedabad and has a grant- in- aid status of Gujarat Government.
