The Sri Pooja educational society bearing the Regd. No. 1433 Dated: 19-12-2001 was registered under the societies registration Act XXI 1860. The main objects if the society is to establish general & Technical educational Institution for Women to cater the crucial needs of U.G & P.G. Education in and around the Industrial areas of Gajuwaka and Visakapatnam. The Society is sponsoring: Degree Collere for Women (Science & Commerce) named as CHAITANYA DEGREE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN which is being recognized by Govt. of A.P., and affiliated to Andhra University. P.G. College for Women (Sciences, Computers & Commerce) named as CHAITANYA P.G. COLLEGE FOR WOMEN which is being affiliated to Andhra University and Recognized by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. The Chaitanya Degree College for Women boasts of providing affordable Accessible, high quality education. The College along with uts able and dedicated management and staff are leaving no store unturned to provide all round development for its students. The curricular and extra curricular activities bring out the latent talents of the students. It is not only when the students is in our College that she given benefit even when she leaves the College, opportunities will knock at her doorstep as she is fully equipped. Chaitanya educational institutions has taken up the noble cause of educating Women. It would ne still noble if we educate women upto the P.G. level at the same time it would be also be a dream come true for our Society. Who gives utmost importance for Women's development. Though there are a few Women's Colleges in the city, there is an urgent need for starting a College exclusively for women as they would fell at home and leave in a congenial atmosphere. Another important reason would be that the Government College is far away from our locality girls would not prefer to travel such long distances. There are no Women's college with Hostels exclusively for women excepting ours CHAITANYA DEGREE & P.G. COLLEGE FOR WOMEN. We are proud to claim the distinction in promoting women,s education having presented 7 batches of students for the examinations achieving 90% above results. Chaitany has the infrastructure and man power and it is ready to carry on the onerous task of guiding Women students along the staircase of life. and enabling them to reach the top most position. We have very well equipped spacious laboratories & a hostel attached to our campus good number of girl students from far off places have been preffering to study at our college.
