The College of Allied Health Sciences (COAHS), a new constituent college of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education was inaugurated on December 4, 1999 by Dr. A. Rajasekaran, President, National Board of Examinations. The College of Allied Health Sciences is the first institution in India exclusively dedicated to the education of allied health professionals. It offers graduate programs in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and hearing, medical lab technology, nuclear medicine,respiratory therapy, medical documentation technology and master's in physical therapy and medical transcription & data management.
