The college was established in the year 1940 after the marathon Satyagraha by Arya Samaj in 1939 against the social and political oppression by the then rulers of Hyderabad. The College is well-established with a Library, Class rooms, Gardens, Hostels (Hostel for Men with a facility for 350 boarders and a Hostel for Women with a facility for 60 boarders), an Open-Air-Theatre, a Playground, a Free Dispensary, a Post-Office and a Bank etc., spread over 63 acres
