The Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute for Biotechnology & Bioinformatics is a constitutional college of Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil University whose mandate includes in addition to research, conduct of special manpower training at Post-Graduate, Ph. D. and post- doctoral level courses, to generate expertise in the field of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics. The Institute is located at Dr. D. Y. Patil University, CBD, Belapur, Navi Mumbai.
