Bichpuri Campus The Bichpuri Campus, situated 12 K.M. From the Raja Balwant Singh College Main Campus at Agra on the road Agra-Achhnera Road, came into being in 1943 with the acquisition of the 100 acres Government Farm on a five-year lease, converted to one of 99 years in 1979. It was an innovative approach of Dr. R. K. Singh, who was always on the look-out for new areas of development and so seeking an opportunity for the expansion of the agricultural wing of the institution he seized it.This college, established in 1885, owes its existence and extension to Raja Balwant Singh Ji of Awagarh who, by his munificence and love for spreading education amongst the masses, enabled the institution to grow as one of the oldest and biggest college of Uttar Pradesh. Today R.B.S. College has seven faculties - Arts, Commerce, Education, Science, Agriculture, Engineering & Technology and Management & Computer Application and five campuses three in Agra itself besides Bichpuri and Awagarh.The faculty of Engg.and Technology was established in 1996.
