I.B.(L) Education Society (Regd.) started a Bharti High school in Tehsil Leiah, Dist . Muzzafargarh (now in West Pakistan) in 1910 in memory of Sh. Inder Bhan Dhingra who donated all his properly for the cause of education .After Partition of the country ,the society established I.B. Bharati High School in1952 at Panipat about 90 KMS. from Delhi ,on Delhi Chandigarh route . The credit for this goes to a large number of philanthropists of leiah (like Late . Sh. Brij Lal Dhingra ,Late Sh. Seth Sukh Dyal Sachdeva ,Late Sh. S.N.Dhingra Late Sh. Shanu Lal Narang , Late Sh. Ram Krishan Gandhir ,Late Sh. Himmat Rai Nagpal Late Sh. Ainshi Ram Miglani , Sh. H.L. Rehani , Sh.Anil Kumar Dhingra and others ) who migrated to India , Panipat being the main hub of biradari. Presently , the Society is being managed by a number of highly experienced intellectuals like Col. T.R. Agnihotri (President ) , Sh. Raj Kumar Kathpalia (Vice-President) Sh. L . N. Miglani (Secretary) and Sh. Tikkan Lal Dhingra (Treasurer). Today ,the school has grown to a full-fledged Senior Secoundry School affilated to Board of School Education , Haryana , Bhiwani. The school is very well equipped with equipped with ultra-modern laboratories of Physics, Chemistry ,Biology ,Computers Science and Maths . Ours students have brought laurels to the institution by securing top positions in the field of academics, co-curricular activities and sports . Our school is considered to be one of the leading institutes of Haryana. The Society started I .B . College at Panipat in July 1956 for girls only with a meager strength of 28 students . Boy's Wing was subsequently added in July 1966. Within a span of 50 Years, the college has carved out a distinct place in academics, cultural and sports activities . Today, it is considered to be one of the pioneering institutions of the state . The ever increasing number of position of merit secured by our students and the distinctions won in the field of sports ,cultural and co-curricular activities are a living testimony to the progress of the college. The college is affiliated to Kurukshetra University ,Kurukshetra and is duly recognized by the U.G.C. (University Grants Commission) New Delhi ,and the Govt. of Haryana. At the post graduate level, the college imparts education for M.A. (Hindi ), M.A. (English) ,M.Com. and M.Sc. in Nutrition and Nutraceutical Science .At the undergraduate level ,it runs classes in the faculties of Science ,Arts and Commerce, B.C.A. and B.I.M. Besides this ,there are excellent arrangements for imparting education to various job-oriented vocational subjects such as Computer Science (Software &Hardware ), Bio-technology ,E-Commerce ,Data Care Management, Tax Laws and Procedures ,Commercial Arts ,Designing and Painting . The College with vast premises has well equipped laboratories of Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Home Science, Bio-tech., Music (Instrumental &Vocal), Math's, Functional English, Commercial Art, Designing &Painting ,Nutrition & Nutraceutical Science, four fully air-conditioned Computer Science labs having latest Pentium-IV computers. It also has an extremely well stacked central library with well maintained departmental libraries, spacious and properly ventilated lecture theatres for students with a good Gymnasium and canteen . The college is committed to the overall development of mental and physical faculties of the new generation . It also promotes Indian culture and value system ,nationalism and patriotism in the future generation. Many dignitaries like Union Law Minister Sh. H.R. Bhardwaj ,Secretary U.G.C. ,Sh. S. K. Khanna ,Former Cheif Justice of India and Former M..P. (Rajya Sabha) Justice Ranga Nath Mishra and Haryana Chief Minister like Ch. Bansi Lal , Ch. Bhajan Lal , Ch.O.P. Chautala have also visited our institution as honorable Guests on different occasions I .B. (L) Public School is another jewel in the cap of the society ,which started in 1989 with a strength of 175 students .Today, it is a full-fledged Public school with both Hindi &English Medium affiliated to C.B.S.E. ,New Delhi upto 10th class with all modern facilities like air-cooled class rooms ,well-equipped library , laboratories of maths, science ,computer science and social science etc. The school has excellent play grounds .There are plans to upgrade the school up to +2 level w.e.f..2007-08. |
