About College
The IGIAT has been set up under Indo-German Technical Co-operation Agreement jointly by Govt.of AP, Govt. of Germany and Gayatri Vidya Parishad, Visakhapatnam. The Institute is situated at Industrial Estate in Visakhapatnam on the National Highway-5. The IGIAT is an Institute with the objectives of : * Upgrading the skills of technical personnel working in the industry as per the changing needs of the industry. * Offering value added programmes for Students of Technical Institutions to make them more employable. * Providing necessary vocational skills to the members of the under-privileged sections of the society. IGIAT, as a sustainable, demand- driven and equity concerned project, is in line with the developmental policy of Indian and German government. It is designed to provide technology based training, consultancy and information resources to its fast moving industrial clients and the upcoming generation of technology specialists, who want to start their own small scale business. It is designed as a comprehensive center to serve the Industries of Andhra Pradesh and beyond with a focus on advanced technologies in the following areas: * Automation and Industrial Process Control * Precision Manufacturing * Infrastructure and Environmental Engineering * Soft Skills and Computer Technologies
