About College
The Institute for Advanced Computing and Software Development (IACSD) is the outcome of visionary mission of Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil, Founder President of Dr. D. Y. Patil Pratishthan. The Institute has been set up to cater to the growing needs of the IT industry in the field of trained manpower requirement, software support, web solutions, network support and guidance to the students so as to develop their skills upto the expectations of the IT companies. The major emphasis is on providing quality and advanced information on the future technologies to the students undergoing various courses at the Institute. The Institute has various other sections like Software solutions, Product development, Network services which provide the much needed support to the IT industry. In future there are plans to expand the area of services offered by the Institute. IACSD is an Authorised Training Centre (ATC) of C-DAC to conduct C-DAC's prestigious Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC) course. Apart from the DAC course IACSD also conducts Pre-DAC course and is planning to commence VLSI Design course shortly.
