Institute of Engineering & Technology, Bhaddal, Ropar, India is a recognized self-financed privately managed institute for technical education. The institute was established in July 1998, by Kandi Friends Educational Trust (Regd.), Mohali.
Setting up of an educational Institute at Bhaddal, a small village in Ropar district, created a great opportunity for a district level town Ropar to project its heritage and culture. The district, hitherto known as an ancient city of Harappan culture, with relics of Alexander�s army, has the reputation as the town of thermal plant and canal head works.
