History : Institute of Textile Technology, Choudwar came in to existence in the year 1983 offering only Diploma Course in Textile Technology. With the advent of technological development and need of qualitative technical Man-power in Textile Industries, the Government of Orissa have pleased to start 4 years Degree (B.Tech.) course in Textile Technology from the academic year 1994-95. The B.Tech.course is affiliated to the �Biju Patnaik University of Technology , Rourkela , Orissa� The Diploma is awarded by the State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training, Orissa. From 2003-04 academic session B.Tech. Degree in Fashion Technology has been introduced.
