In the fast growing market scenario- where competition is fierce and media choices are immense- there has been an increasing demand for marketing specialists within the newspaper industry who have been injecting successful strategies and plans, and building the contours of branding in order to overcome the challenges of growth and retain its readers.
The challenge for any print media person is two pronged - to add new readers to its existing base, retain them, and reach new literates, the target of SEC AB group, especially in the light of growing competition from within as well as others.This one-year course will train students to learn the skills in Television and Radio journalism. The broadcast journalism will teach students about the concept and process of communication. It will explain them the functions and theories of visual communication. As visuals from the critical input in Television Journalism, the students will be provided extensive training in understanding news through visuals.
Apart from newsgathering, the students will learn to produce the news with the help of graphics. They will undergo training for shooting with camera, Piece to Camera, Voice Over and News Anchoring.
