Lingaya's Institute of Management & Technology (LIMAT) is an engineering institute established in 1998 by " Lingaya's Jankalyan Shikshan Sanstha" in the memory of great freedom fighter Late Shri Gadde Lingaya who sacrificed his life at the altar of the freedom of his motherland.Since LIMAT's very foundations are based on the dreams of a noble visionary son of India, its singular objective and mission is to facilitate and to promote studies, research and extension work with a focus on professional education in the emerging areas of higher education in the disciplines of engineering technology, management, computer applications etc. and also to achieve excellence in these and related fields, thereby to equip the students to become effective professionals with career prospects to meet the emerging global and industrial needs of the society and nation in the 21st century. Besides imparting knowledge needed for profession in technical field by careful instruction and guidance for self learning in both formal and informal modes, we at LIMAT continuously keep monitoring the progress of our students through our class counselors. We have a well set system of interaction with parents vis-a-vis academic achievements of their wards. We are constantly in touch with our Alumni through Alumni Association (COOL) to keep the family members in touch with each other. Our motto is to create a well disciplined technical manpower by inculcating in them ethical, social and moral values though well structured "value added courses" resulting in the overall development of their personality. |
