About College
Rajagiri Dawood Batcha College of Arts and Science was established by Dawood Batcha Educational and Charitable Trust at Papanasam in 1999. The college has a highly sophisticated campus with 70,000 sq.ft. building in 10.25 acres of land in a calm and healthy atmosphere with spacious and well ventilated classrooms. It also has a well-stocked information center with more than 10500 book collections that are increased regularly. The founder puts more importance to the information center, as he himself was an Information Center Officer by profession. The students are provided with well equipped Microbiology,Biochemistry and Physics laboratories. They are provided with well equipped computer labs have a Computer to student ratio of 1:1. Moreover,the college has a highly trained and well-experienced faculty to cater to the needs of the students. Furthermore excelletnt hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls separately with all needed amenities. College transport is also provided for the students for safety purposes.
