Rajkiya Kanya Maha Vidyalya, Shimla came into being in 1977 when the erstwhile RPCSDB college was taken over by State Govt. and converted into a college exclusively for girls. It has been declared a quality Institute of higher Learning in the country. The institution offers quality education in three streams of studies- Humanities, Science and Comerce. The college had also made arrangements through APTECH COMPUTER education, to impart basic computer training to students at nominal rates.
