The Institution was established in 1953 in the form of Students Hostel as Rashtriya Sahakari Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Ltd. Chalisgaon. The center provides an opportunity of life long learning to some extent to the needy, deprived and disadvantaged sections of the society. The center mainly caters to the needs of aspirants for higher education who have failed to complete education either for economical or for geographical reasons. The college felt the necessity of making such an opportunity available taking into consideration the increasing number of desirous candidates in the area.
