Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering & Information Technology, at Shiroda (a suburb of Ponda in south Goa) is such an Institute that has brought the modern technological education to the doorsteps of rural youth, eager to be educated. The Institute is managed by Shivgram Education Society (SES) which commits itself to ?progress through education'. The Society has the benefit of the dynamic leadership of its visionary Chairman, Shri Subhash A. Shirodkar who stands committed to the service of the society . It is his endeavour to spread the best in an underdeveloped rural setup that has brought the modern technological education to Shiroda. Established in 2001, the Institute is affiliated to Goa University and is approved by the All India Council For Technical Education(AICTE). The students at the Institute are educated in the laboratories equipped with ?state-of-the-art' facilities and are coached by dedicated and qualified staff. The Institute offers ?Four-Year' graduate level (B.E.) courses in Computer Engineering, information Technology and Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering.
