About College
Saraswati Dental College and Hospital was established in the year 1998 when it got the approvals of U. P. State Government and then the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi. The Institute got the recognition (accredition) from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Central Government, New Delhi in the year 2004. Three batches of B. D. S. students have passed out from the Institute since then. These young doctors have been absorbed by various Private/ Government firms and are excelling in their respective fields. The Institute is affiliated to the prestigious Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University, Faizabad and is now running in its 9th academic year. Institute's Out Patient Department was established in the year 1999-2000 and there had been a continuous effort to modernize the facilities for improved dental treatment deliverance. Today 7 specialized clinics having 250 Dental chairs and units are functionally catering for various specialized facilities and approximately 250 patients are attending its OPD everyday. The College has adopted 28 villages in the surrounding area (with population of approx 50,000 to 70,000 including children, young and adults) and is routinely busy in carrying out Dental inspection of its inhabitants.
