Saraswati Mahila Mahavidyalaya is located on the outskirts of Palwal City on National Highway-2,between the national capital Delhi and the historical city � Agra. SMM was established in september 1984 with a mission to serve the women community by giving them quality education. The Foundation stone of this temple of teaching-learning was laid down on 02-09-1984 by Sh.L.R.Gupta Senior Advocate of Supreme Court and the first academic session started in 1988-89 and was inaugurated by Honorable Sh.B.D.Gupta the then Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana. This College is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University,Rohtak Haryana and recognized by Director of Higher Education , Chandigarh and University Grants Commission u/sec.2(f) of UGC Act 1956. Spread over 3.5 acres, the college offers Science/Commerce/Arts and Computer application and Computer Science streams. Ours is the pioneer College in providing women education at higher level in this city. College has grown over the 19 years(1988-2007) period with a dream to reach the heights of excellence in higher education.
