Sharanabasaveshwar College of Commerce, Gulbarga started in the year 1961. Under the patronage and blessings of pujya doddappa appa, the founder president of our sangh. This college is affiliated to Gulbarga University Gulbarga, Karnataka. Our college is housed in a fine specious building. It is a pioneer reputed and the only independent and oldest commerce college of this region. We will be celebrating golden jubilee in the year 2011, to mark its fruitful existence of 50 years considering the status of our college the former vice-chancellor of Gulbarga university Dr. M Nagaraj has opinioned that "Sharanabasaveshwar college of commerce Gulbarga would be the first institution in the affiliated college to get permission to start P G course under Gulbarga university Gulbarga.
