Sir P. P. Institute of Science, a premier Institute of higher learning in Physical, Mathematical and Biological pure Sciences was founded in 1964 and named after Sir Prabhashankar Pattani, the most popular and wise secretary of erstwhile princely State of Bhavnagar.
