Sir Theagaraya College was started in the year 1950 with the Intermediate Course. Sir Theagaraya Evening College was started in the year 1965 with Pre-University and Degree Classes. Affiliation was granted to start B. Com. and B. Sc. Br.IV Chemistry in the year 1970 and 1971 respectively.
