Skiltek Educational Institutions was established in 1979. The institute have been growing from strength to strength, starting new courses, keeping abreast with the times. When established, it was just another Industrial Training Centre, imparting training in a handful of courses, with affiliation to the National Council for Vocational Training, Ministry of Labour, Government of India and with the recognition of the Government of Kerala. This institution conducts three levels of courses, in different branches of Engineering viz. Degree Level, Diploma Level and Certificate Level. This institution is permanently affiliated to NCVT, Government of India. This is the first institution affiliated to NCVT Government of India for computer trades, in the whole of India. Skiltek made its mark as a unique computer education centre joining hands with the largest computer education network, the DOEACC Department of Electronics under Ministry of Information Technology, Government of India. Also Skiltek Computer Centre (Training Division of Skiltek Computers Pvt. Ltd.) is a study centre of Punjab Technical University courses for computer/Management Discipline.
