About College
The aim and vision of the college is to provide empowerment to women through education. Smt Addepalli Vivekananda Devi the Founder Secretary was, a great educationist and social worker Sri Kroviddi Lingaraju, the Founder President a freedom fighter and a staunch Congress worker lent a helping hand and the college became a reality. Sri P.V.Narasimha Rao, the Education Minister of Andhra Pradesh and later Prime Minister laid the foundation of the college on September 2, 1968. Started with a handful of students, the college has grown in strength and stature from huts to pucca buildings. The college was admitted into grant-in-aid in 1973.
