SREC is run under Swamy Educational Trust. The aim and objectives of the Trust is to impart Technical Education to the aspiring youth all over the world.The Trust has started the Sri Ramanujar Engineering College in accordance with the general policy of the AICTE, Government of India and Government of TamilNadu,to give priority to Technical Education in order to meet the demand for Trained Engineers for various industrial and development projects in the state of TamilNadu and the rest of India. Sri Ramanujar Engineering College presently offers Four programs at under graduate level . All the programs are affiliated to the Anna University, and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education(AICTE).
